Lennon Wall

I finally got to scanning some film in. When John Lennon was shot people came to this wall to pay their respects and leave messages. They authorities would repaint the wall and people would come right back and leave their messages.

Hell in Mexico

There was this association with Mexico and being Mexican for certain individuals in Slavonice. I didn't get a chance to explore this in depth but I assume there are parallels for people because of border issues and marginalization in the context of social class.

Train Ride

We rode around all day looking at the landscape and taking naps on and off

at a certain point, we missed a close connection to go back to the border for a couple of video works we had imagined

we opted to go back to prague a different way and to have dinner in another city

the most beautiful woman i've ever seen in my life chose to sit with us

we communicated in pictures as there were no words common to us all

her name was Eva
