Mariz and Forest/Bunkers

We also toured the village of Mariz, highlighted by its abandoned and destroyed mansion. on the Czech side along the border exist bunkers that were created and used during WWII and the Cold War. They are dispersed all along the countryside as well as the forests, creating a network in which every bunker could be self-sufficient yet visible to other bunkers. They were networked, yet never out of view of the other bunkers.
