The Landscape Architecture/Design students from the University of Pennsylvania and the Philadelphia University teamed up with artists from ASU to tackle ecological and landscape issues along the border of Czech and Austria, along the Iron Curtain border now known as the European Greenbelt because of its unique situation and opportunity for ecological growth and environmental sustainability.
Before working on these issues, we took a few field trips, the first of which is to the border and to a village just across the border into Austria know as Fratres.
